Adrianna & Ava
I took some portraits of 2 adorable sisters last week. Ava was 7 weeks and Adrianna is 2-1/2. We were able to sneak outside for a little bit but the weather turned cold and windy. Hopefully the warm weather that we had last weekend comes back soon. Check out some of my favorites.

Yankee Stadium

What a day yesterday was! Deana and I got tickets to the Yanks 2nd game in the new stadium...they got their 1st win there ever. 70 degree weather, an 8th inning Jeter home run to take a 1 run lead, Mariano closing out the game, a amazing new ballpark and tons of ballpark food. It doesn't get much better than that (for a yankee fan).

Here's a little piece of the old stadium that still stands right across the street

My only regret was not getting 1 of these cheese steaks. Talk about fresh! They had a butcher carving up the meat right in front of you.

Yes...the stadium has sushi

Madison

Here are Madison's 6 month photos. I've been doing a lot of baby and kids portraits lately and it's a whole different mindset from weddings. I love trying to get as creative as possible instead of your standard studio portraits. Here are a few of my favorites.

Check out those eyes! I put a little vintage touch on some of the photos.

Headshots

Yesterday I was called up to do a headshot for a lawfirm in Hartford. It's actually funny because they are divorce attorneys and I'm a wedding photographer which is pretty ironic. They are a great bunch of people and I've done a few jobs for them in the past.

I took a couple photos of the set up for a little behind the scenes look. I don't have the permission to post the final product so you'll have to use your imagination.

I used a 3 strobe setup. 2 pointing at the cream colored wall in the background which totally blows out the color and then 1 light in a shoot through ubrella to light the subject. I needed a little fill light on the right side so I set up my reflector to give me a little bounce from the umbrella light. It was a pretty small room with low ceilings but I was able to get some good shots. Enjoy your Thursday!

Here's the room without the background strobes going off.

The red circles are where my strobes are.
