Fishing

UPDATE:
Here's the fishing trip wrap up. I think we all caught double digit fish! It was crazy. As soon as we casted out the fish were biting. Here's a collage of all of us and the fish.

Today I'm off to camp out with my father, my 2 brothers and my sisters boyfriend Ben. We're camping out tonight, and waking up extremely early to do some fishing. It's kind of becoming a tradition to do this every year. This is the post from last year. Last year we didn't catch 1 thing! Our excuse was that the river had flooded the week before makng it hard to catch anything. I'm not leaving this year until and catch a few. My Dad (a teacher) is on his April break and has been having good luck already this week with fish. Heres a photo he just sent me.

I'll be posting some photos when I get back. Wish me luck.

Philly & Baltimore

We're back from our weekend getaway. We went down to Philly on Friday to do some sightseeing and relax. Deana and I have never been there so we just walked all over the place with no plan. Our hotel was right in the historic district which was really cool. We eventually found the Rocky statue after a long walk.
Then Saturday morning we headed down to Baltimore to catch the Yanks stink it up Saturday night. They got beat 6-0, but we had a good time and the inner harbor is such a fun place with tons of restaurants and bars. We had some pretty awesome crab cakes too! And we couldn't have asked for better weather.

Wowy!

Check out this little supermodel! Oh wait, that's my fiance Deana. She had her make-up trial with the amazing Dana Bartone of Dana Bartone & Company out of Cheshire CT.
If you brides out there need a makeup and hair lady I highly suggest giving Dana a call.

Deana looked absolutely stunning and I might just break down and shed some tears when she walks through those church doors. Check out the pics.

We're headed down to Baltimore tomorrow to go to Camden Yards to Catch the Yankees play the Orioles on Saturday night. I'll post some pictures.

What a day!

Yesterday was probably the best day in my young photography career. I'm fairly new to photo seminars and stuff like that so I decided to attend the seminar hosted by Carla Ten Eyck and Steve Depino. It was a last minute decision but I am so glad I made it. Carla and Steve are GREAT photographers and even nicer people. They have such a passion for what they do and love sharing and teaching what they've learned over their impressive careers.

It really re-energized me and inspired me for my upcoming wedding season. I was surrounded by so many amazing photographers, many of whom I blog stalk. Seeing and hearing the different styles, philosophies and ideas each photographer has was just awesome.

They brought in a few great models and we spent a big part of the day walking around Carla's neighborhood taking photos. Here are a few shots of Carla and Steve teaching in Carla's cool studio and then some shots I got of the models. Thanks so much to Carla and Steve and to everyone else that was there!
