Hiking

Well today was a rare Friday where both Deana and I have the day off. She's on her Feb vacation from teaching and I had nothing going on today so it was my idea to take a hike in the snow up to Castle Craig in Meriden.
It was a little cold but we were all bundled up. Deana wasn't too thrilled about the idea
(she's not exactly the outdoorsy type) but was a good sport and made it up to the top with me. She tried to give up a few times but I got her to go all the way. At 1 point up the mountain she said...and I quote, "this is 1 of the top 5 worst days of my life" and "If we were on a date, I would dump you...after you bought me lunch." hahahahaha. She's the best. A little soup and sandwich afterwards made her feel a whole lot better (and she didn't dump me). I had a blast!! and Deana's comments were cracking me up the whole way up and down the mountain. Sushi Smores and Spa

Yesterday was Deana and my 1st valentines as a married couple! (I know I'm corny) We started off with a nice bluberry pancake breakfast and then headed out to the Spa at Litchfield Hills
for an awesome couples massage. I've never had a massage before in my life and was a little tentative because I'm pretty ticklish but it was amazing. My body was like jello after we were done.
Then we headed out later last night for a nice sushi dinner at Ichiro in West Hartford center. The place was packed!! We have a slight addiction to sushi and Ichiro did not disappoint. Then we capped off the night a couple feet down the road at Cosi for dessert. We ordered the smores, campfire and all. They bring you a little torch type of thingy and you actually make the smores yourself. We had a blast!! Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day!

I wanted to take a ride and check out some different locations today for future photo shoots. I also wanted to get away from editing and album designing for a little bit(and laundry). Speaking of album designing I just ordered a sample album from KISS Albums. I can't wait to see how it looks. If I'm pleased with it I will be offering these as 1 of my album options for 2009. It's going to be a couple weeks but I'll take some photos when it comes in.
