the wedding day! wow what a day. i think this might be my largest blog post to date. it really meant a lot to me to be able to capture this day. being able to deliver photos like this to great people is so satisfying. when i tell people i'm a wedding photographer they often ask "how do you like shooting weddings" and they usually seem to be waiting for a complaint or negative answer, but I always reply "I love it". Sure it's hard, stressful work and can be a very time consuming job. there is SO much that goes into shooting a wedding and the preparation and knowledge you need never ends. basically what i'm saying is its HARD HARD work. But the reward you get when you deliver the images outweighs all the hard work.

thanks again jim and kerry for letting me capture this perfect day!

then went up to Howth Head in the town of Howth for an impromptu shoot. we dodged the rain all week. The view from the cliffs were surreal.

then it was back to the streets of Dublin

and we had a great "welcome reception" at the Guinness Factory. The top floor has a bar with 360 degree views of the city.

these are a couple images from the Portmarnock Hotel where the wedding reception was held

Part II is coming up very soon...wedding day photos.
