Marissa & Don | Riverview | 05.01.09

Last weekend was another double wedding weekend. Friday we had the honor to photograph Marissa and Don. I was excited to shoot this wedding from the day they booked with me. They are the most easy going photogenic couple. We avoided the rain again and everything turned out perfect. Here are a BUNCH of my favorites. Thank you Bruni and Hamilton family for making our jobs easy. We had a blast. Congrats!!

Morning surprise

Check this out. I took a walk around the yard today (to check on my grass seed I planted that doesn't seem to be growing) and when I got to the front storm door a bird seem to fly out of it. After looking around for a little bit I noticed the bird (not sure what kind) built a nest in the middle of our door wreath. Shows you how much we use the front door. So if you plan on coming over and you read this you might want to use the side door.

I'm probably a little late on this, but I had a full page photo published in the knot magazine!! I met with some great clients tonight and the bride to be mentioned that she saw 1 of my photos in the knot magazine! I had an idea that 1 of my photos might be in there but wasn't expecting a full pager! I'll take it though.
The wedding season really kicks in tomorrow! The weather is supposed to be amazing. Can't wait.

Adrianna & Ava
I took some portraits of 2 adorable sisters last week. Ava was 7 weeks and Adrianna is 2-1/2. We were able to sneak outside for a little bit but the weather turned cold and windy. Hopefully the warm weather that we had last weekend comes back soon. Check out some of my favorites.

Yankee Stadium

What a day yesterday was! Deana and I got tickets to the Yanks 2nd game in the new stadium...they got their 1st win there ever. 70 degree weather, an 8th inning Jeter home run to take a 1 run lead, Mariano closing out the game, a amazing new ballpark and tons of ballpark food. It doesn't get much better than that (for a yankee fan).

My only regret was not getting 1 of these cheese steaks. Talk about fresh! They had a butcher carving up the meat right in front of you.
