Order Now

Here is a sneak peak at my new ordering site for 2008. You will be able to see larger previews and it is very user friendly. I haven't uploaded and galleries yet but will be soon. If it's been more than 6 months from your event, your photos will most likely expire and won't be transferred to the new ordering system. So if you want to order through me and haven't yet, please do so very soon. Events within the past 6 months will most likely be transferred. I'm looking forward to the switch and hopefully it makes things easier on my clients. You'll also notice that I added a "Gallery Print" section. I am going to try and offer my personal, scenic/creative images for sale to the public. There will most likely be a slight increase in print prices too so order now to save some cash.

Playing with light

Strobist is an amazing website that has taught me so many little tricks using my flash off camera. These images were taken using my home-made grid spot on my flash. It pretty much narrows down the spill of light from your flash. You can read all about it here

You can really see how tight the beam of light is here

I noticed that the light was missing the flower and creating a little spot on the floor so I placed a few petals in that spot and got this

Doors of Short Beach

Short Beach is a part of Branford and is full of narrow roads lined with beach houses and cottages of all sizes, shapes, colors and textures. These are some shots I got today as I took a little walk. I can't wait for the warm weather to return.

Restoration

I have this photo that was given to me by my fiances aunts father. It's a photo of him and his friends from 1934! "The Gang".
It was in very poor condition and I'm still working on restoring it. Here's what I've got so far. There were so many cracks in the image that a lot of the detail has been lost. What do you think? Does it look any better?

House

I had to take down the post about the new house because we've had a few issues with the contract. I didn't want to jinx it. The deposit is in and the contract is signed but it's contingent on the owner finding a house. So keep your fingers crossed for us that she finds a place! I'll keep you updated.
