The Joey Miller Group

My future brother-in-law plays the drums for the Joey Miller Group. It was the 1st time I got to see them and they sounded great. You can read a little more about them here, and also here a sampling of their music.
Next time I go see them I'm going to try to get shots of the whole band. They played at Georges II in Wallingford. Next time they play you should come out and see them.
Here's Chris drumming away.

Game Over

I was going to put a t-shirt on today and this was at the top of the pile. It made me start laughing. My brother Gino got it for me for Christmas.
Big snow day here in CT.
EDIT: The shirt is also from Amanda, my sis-in-law! That's what I meant to say.

Just a random pic I took today at Branford Point. I wanted to test out my soon to be logo/"stamp" that you see in the bottom right corner. I tweaked it a little from the previous post.

I've been thinking about switching up my logo for a while now. I am just not thrilled with the 1 I have now. I felt like it was missing something. I need to decide on 1 and just stick to it. I have trouble making decisions sometimes. I tend to over think my designs materials. I was playing around with my logo and came up with this. This is still in trial mode. I wanted something simple, crisp with a little shine to it...if that makes sense.

Give me some comments and feedback about what you think. I need your opinions.

One would be used for a dark background and 1 for a light or white background

Master Your Craft

Today I attended a seminar put on by 2 amazing photogs, Mike Colon and Bob Davis.
It's definitely a great motivational thing for me and I look forward to attending more seminars like this. Mike and Bob are 2 high end photographers and Mike recently shot Eva Longoria's wedding and Bob shoots special events for Oprah. Their love for photography is so obvious and it just pours out of them. Doing something you love for "work" is an amazing thing. I still have my day job in graphics, but I look forward to the day where photography is my only job. Here's a few images I snapped during the seminar.

Here's a group shot that was taken of everyone there. Can you find me? I made it pretty easy.
