Heres a photo I took of my lovely fiance yesterday.

Today Deana and I went out and cut down our Xmas tree. It was freezing out!! We picked out a great tree but when we got home we thought the tree was going to bust through the living room windows like the Griswold's because it looked so big. It was perfect size though after a little trimming! Here are a few pictures from our day.
This was at the tree farm in Branford
Here's me with the trimmers(a box cutter - that's all we had)

Here's a little tradition that was started a few years back. My mother hosts a gingerbread-house-making-event the day after Thanksgiving. Girls only! Here's a photo of this years builders. From left to right we have Lisa(my sis. She usually has one of the better houses, ha), Amanda(my sis-in-law. She took a few years off, but came back with a nice little house.), Gina(cousin, she might still be putting the finishing touches on her house), Katie(cousin, She unfortunately made a RedSox themed house in a Yankees household!! we'll let it slide this year), Sara(cousin, was a little tardy today but put together a nice house, ha), and last but not least, Deana(my fiance, she went with a wedding style house in honor of our upcoming wedding in July.) Check out the little bride and groom near Deana's house.

Our new bed arrived today from Pilgrim furniture! It's so awesome and so high up compared to our old bed. Check this out!

You have to check out this website www.karaannartwork.com Kara is a old friend of the family from my home town of Bristol. Her father was actually my dentist growing up. I ran into Kara at a wedding I shot last weekend. Kara has her own business creating hand painted aisle runners for weddings. Her artwork is awesome and you can see some aisle runners in action on her website. It's such a unique, stylish touch for your ceremony, and the runners look so cool in wedding photos.
Here's an example of a runner from Kara's website. For more info click here
